Karate Grading Syllabus
Grimsby Martial Arts Academy offers gradings to students every 3-4 months. The gradings are a way for a student to test just how far they have come with their training and a goal to aim for. Each grading lasts for around 1 hour unless they are the brown and black belt gradings, which last for 1.5 hours upward. Members taking the same belt will be called into the training room where thety will be asked by the cheif instructors to carry out the moves as per the grading syllabus for their choosen belt. In between sections there will be a high degree of fitness and bag work. Each section of the syllabus is marked, with the results of the grading being handed out the following week.
